		<description>No worries boys, as we continue to fuck up this planet and make it unlivable, I'm sure research dollars will be funded back in to privatized space travel and the like.  But us middle-class chumps won't be able to afford it and will choke on our own CO2.  Aren't I cheery?</description>

		<description>I just downloaded 2001 in HD. I figure that's the closest I will get to post-terrestrial travel, considering how underfunded NASA is and how slow the private sector is to making any real progress. 
It's sad to think that we (as a civilization) hit our peak in this area of research 40 years ago. The latter half of the 20th century and beginning of this one will probably known as a micro dark age. 
Political and financial goals have usurped scientific ones for too long.</description>
