The Big Chill

Saturday, January 10th, 2004

Were I a homeowner and had something resembling a disposable income, this would be on my list of things to buy. Lovely retro-looking refrigerators in a variety of lovely colours. Yum!!

Klingon wedding

Saturday, January 10th, 2004

Full disclosure: I like Star Trek. But on the flip side, I also like cola slurpees, my iPod, and Mr. T. However, a line must be drawn that clearly divides being a fan and being a fanatic — one that makes the distinction between, “I really enjoy the show as I find it entertaining and well written.” and “That Klingon chick is really fucking hot!”. Unfortunately for some of us that distinction isn’t as clear. So when I’ve finally met that special someone (possibly in Vegas) and I walk down the aisle, it won’t be in full Klingon uniform and make-up.

Notes from the underground

One of most curious things I’ve found. Scans of page after page of what appears to be a teenage sketchbook with absolutely no information pertaining to its origins. Fascinating if not for the cultural significance.

Mold me shape me

Tuesday, January 6th, 2004

Morphases is an amusing little website in which you get to play with peoples faces, molding them into a variety of grotesque shapes. It amused me for five minutes and re-affirmed why I should never be allowed to pass on my genetic material.

This website will most likely make as little sense to you as it does to I but it worth checking out regardless.
